Obituary for Colleen Robinson

Once again, the tides have changed and the process has taken our beloved daughter, Colleen Andreane Robinson, child of Ray N. and Sadie A. Robinson, born on September 9, 1974, in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica.
Colleen was 2 years old when she came to the United States where she resided on Palm Beach Lakes in West Palm Beach with her parents and grandparents. In 1980, she moved with her parents to 43rd Street in West Palm Beach.
She attended Ephesus pre-school then Westward Elementary School where she was a safety patrol and a girl scout, then to John I Leonard High School in Lake Worth, Florida. She joined the high school band along with her younger sister where she played both the clarinet and the drums. (She was famous for using her drumsticks to practice on the edge of her dresser in her room.)
After graduating from John I Leonard in 1992, she was accepted at Miami University and Auburn University. She chose Auburn where she majored in Criminal Justice. She also joined the marching band “Go Tigers!” in a low voice. She did her internship with the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearm (ATF) that was located on Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Colleen graduated from Auburn University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Shortly after she graduated she met Ronald Bayek Jr, who she affectionately called “Rogie”. This relationship lasted until her passing on June 1, 2022. Her first employment was at a real estate title company where she learned the entire title business from being a pre-processor to a closer. She pursued that type of employment even during the early stages of her medical challenges and never ceased to educate herself in that field until she became the “best of the best”. She was excellent in this field.
In her travels, she attended weddings and funerals here and in Jamaica. She was typically a “daddy’s girl” who refers to her dad as “Daddy Ray” or “Pops” and always called her mom “Mommy” and her boyfriend as “Rogie”. She was affectionately known as “Cal” or “Cal Cal” to her parents, sister, niece, and nephews. She adored her younger sister Marsha and her sister’s children; Aryc, Cheyenne, and Braylen.
She enjoyed the Florida Panther’s hockey team, birthdays, holidays, and either going to the movies or watching them at home or at her parent’s house and she loved to listen to BTS (a Korean boy group) her favorite band member was “Sugar”. She was the type of person that would attend events with you just to make sure you were happy. She was also a book fanatic. She had tons of books but thanks to eBooks for stopping the accumulation. She was a true animal lover especially cats and dogs.
She has touched so many lives and because of that she will surely be missed, her pain and suffering are all over.
Lovingly Submitted by Ray & Sadie Robinson
