Obituary for Donald Barbary Sr.

Donald Barbary Sr. was born on September 5th, 1952, in LaGrange,
GA, to the late Annie Doris Barbary-Epps(Alex) and Hudson Leon
Avery Sr. While living in LaGrange, he attended Kelley Grammar
Elementary school. His family then migrated down to Riviera Beach, FL
in 1961, where he attended Washington Elementary, Roosevelt Jr-High
School, and Twin Lakes High School. Donald is most known for his
lighthearted humor, joyous voice, and his charming character! With such
an infectious personality, naturally, he was always the life of the party!
On Sunday, March 5th, 2023, in Orlando, FL where he resided, Donald
finished his course and gained his heavenly wings.

Donald while searching the world for more, found refuge in Christ, who
he accepted as his Lord and Savior, under the direction and profound
leadership of Bishop John D. Alexander, at Pentecostal Church of God
In Christ, Inc; located at 1289 West 28th Street, Riviera Beach, FL.
There he became an active member of the church, joining the choir, and
eventually leading songs of worship. He also spent time as a lector,
where he proudly read scripture for Bishop Alexander.

Donald spent a great amount of time working for Classic Cultured
Marble, where he would build and refurbish marble and granite products
for a wide range of customers in the South Florida region. He then
worked as a groundskeeper at Ballen Isles, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Though Donald wore many hats throughout his life, the one he wore the
absolute best, and the proudest, was that of being a father! A man of
great charm and distinction, he affectionately left his mark on many,
leaving behind a lasting impression on those he came in contact with. In
his latter years, he spent most of his days taking scenic walks, watching
westerns, and being an amazing father and grandfather! His presence
and unconditional love will surely be missed! If he could say anything at
all, it would be to stay encouraged!

Donald was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Denise Barbary
(Fowler), Grandmother Bessie Bell Ayers-Shealey, Uncle Willie James
Barbary, and Daughter Kendra Nicole Barbary.

Donald is survived by his Uncle Eddie James Barbary, (8) Daughters;
