Mrs. Elmira Helen Crowley was born December 24, 1938, in Hazlehurst, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Solomon Brinson and Ethel Brewington Brinson.
Mrs. Crowley was a member and served under the leadership of Rev A.E. Issacs, now Rev. Joseph B. Tyson at St. John Missionary Baptist Church for over fifty years. She was a dedicated servant for the Lord and his people. She walked faithfully until April 27,2022 at Jupiter Medical Center when God said, “Elmira, job well done”. A warrior for God, she never walked away from servicing others.
Elmira retired as a school crossing guard in which she was known as the Master Sergeant of the Arms at one of the busiest intersections, Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard in West Palm Beach, Florida. Often misunderstood yet loved by many, young and old Elmira touch the lives of others. She will be missed by many.
Elmira leaves to cherish her memories: Three sons Alonzo Brinson, West Palm Beach, Florida; Michael Daniels Sr., West Palm Beach, Florida (preceded her in death); Stacey Crowley, Hebron, Indiana. Three daughters Wanda Riggs, Waycross, Georgia; Patricia Jackson; Beatrice (Lynn) Hardy, Chicago, Illinois. Seventeen Grandchildren includes special remembrance Katarri Jackson – Pearson and Brian Pearson; Tanika Davis; all from West palm Beach, Florida. John Hardy, Chicago Illinois, (preceded her in death); Selina Riggs, Atlanta, Georgia (U.S. Army), Pamela Norton, Grand, Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Daniels, Boynton, Florida, Crise Johnson, Boynton, Florida. A host of great grands, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Death is just a gateway,
Our loved ones pass through.
