Obituary for Hommer Charles
Hommer Charles was born on December 13, 1952 in Lagonave, Haiti. He was the only child.
Hommer also lovingly known as “Lotto” to family and friends, migrated to the United States in 1978. He made that journey by boat and which he ended up in the middle of the sea having to swim 13 hours to shore . He ended up staying in Homestead, Florida for a year or two then moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and became a landscaper.
Hommer loved fishing, working and playing soccer. Hommer is survived by his wife Delaide of 25 years, three children Peterson Charles (Sky Charles) Gahycha Miriam and Nadia Charles, two GrandChildren Jahpetria and Shanaya Charles and a host of other family and friends too many more to name.
