Obituary for Johnnie Warren Sr.
Johnnie L. Warren, Sr. was born on April 18,1936 to Pearlene and John Gable Warren in Dothan, Alabama. The family later moved to West Palm Beach where he attended Palm Beach County Schools and graduated in the class of 1954 from Roosevelt High School.
He married his childhood sweetheart Georgianna Perry in 1956. They were married for forty nine years before she proceeded him in death in 2005. To their union three children were born. Gail, Johnnie Jr. and Patrice. Johnnie accepted the Lord at a very early age and was a faithful member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church until leaving the area to live with his daughter and her family.
Anyone that really knew Johnnie knew what his passion and love was ….GOLF,GOLF AND MORE GOLF! He loved golf when golf wasn’t popular. He was employed by the West Palm Beach Country Club for many years. He worked with some of the greatest and repaired their broken grips and shafts. He received many awards and accolades for his participation with young aspiring golfers. He was one of a kind and will be sadly missed.
Early on May 1, 2022 he left this temporary life for a place of eternal rest. He leaves behind many loving memories and those who will always cherish him. A very loving daughter,Trice and dedicated son-n-law, Zachary. Two devoted grandsons, ZacharyII(Melissa) and Taylor. One granddaughter, Alexandria. Three sister-n-laws, Beatrice Perry, Jesse Warren and Bertha Warren and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
