Obituary for Mattie Mae Shelton
Mattie Mae Shelton, 74, of Ocala, FL, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2022 after a two year battle with cancer. She was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who shared her love of the Lord, singing and music with her family. She was a stickler for education and was very committed to seeing her children succeed in all their endeavors.
Mattie was a faithful and devoted member of New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in Ocala, FL for over 20 years where she served faithfully in the choir and worked with the youth ministry up until her health failed.
Her memory will be cherished by her four children, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, her brother, uncle, a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and loved ones.
