Obituary for Michael Williams

Michael Alexander Williams was born in Delray Beach, Florida on September 23, 1953 to the late Rosa Lee Bush and the late Edwards Williams. Michael Williams attended Seacrest High School. He graduated class of 1971.

Upon completion of High School, He enrolled in Florida Memorial University pledging his fraternity Kappa Alpha Psi, where he would receive the nickname “Sweetback”. He would eventually meet and fall in love with a Kappa’ Kitten, named Sheron Denise Williams. The two would get married and their union would be blessed with three new additions, his children, Racquel Ayers, Andrea Williams, Marcus Williams and one prior son, Darrington Williams.

Michael would find his professional career within the United States Military. The family lived abroad for several years exploring European Culture, as Michael served as a Sergeant in the Army before returning stateside.
He would later complete his service at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center retiring at the age of 62. Michael Williams was passionate about computers, loved the game of chess, and prided himself on looking good. Michael loved his mother, his family and a good time.

“Sweetback” departed this life and entered eternity on December 14, 2022 at 7:20 p.m. He is already missed and could never be forgotten. He leaves behind to cherish his memories: His two daughters, Racquel Ayers (Jamison) and Andrea Williams, his two sons, Darrington Williams and Marcus Williams (Becky), his sister Lois, Uncle Alex, seven grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, In-laws and a whole community that will never forget him.
