Obituary for Narilia Jean Paul

Narilia "Anna" Jean Paul was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend of many. She left this world suddenly on November 20, 2022, at age 65.

She was born to Izabelle Zephir and Naus Jean Paul on September 12, 1957, in Port-au-prince, Haiti. Anna is one of thirteen children. After attending high school, Anna met her ex-husband, Antoine Serge Mardy, and came to America to start a family. Together, they had four children: John, Serge, Elisee, and Elizabeth.

Everyone who knew Anna felt her big heart and grace to give back to her community, and Anna did not hesitate to support those who needed it the most. Through the years, Anna enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for the family, and spending time with her children by watching movies and television and attending events. Anna loves attending Sunday services and praises God for being a wonderful mother to her children and grandchild and creating joyful memories with friends and family. In her spare time, Anna enjoys making clothes for her daughter on Sunday services and assisting her church brothers and sisters with their personal needs.

Anna said her greatest joy was being a mother to her children John, Serge, Elisee, and Elizabeth. She "found hope in the future" with her grandchild Elizae "Eli." Anna's friends and church community are forever grateful to her children for their support and for surrounding Anna with love in her last months.
