Obituary for Norma Ealy

Norma Ruth Ealy (April 25, 1942 – December 19, 2021)
Norma Ruth (Brothers) Ealy transitioned from this life on Sunday, December 19, 2021. Norma was born in St. George, South, Carolina on April 25, 1942 to the late Norman Brothers and Laurine (Brothers) Jones. She is survived by life partner, Robert Hinton; brother, Clarence Brothers (Dorothy); son, Anthony Ealy (Heike); daughter, Gina McIntosh (Clayton); granddaughter, Tomica Williams; grandsons, Markus Ealy and Devin Ealy; great-grandsons, Tyquarius White, Jace Williams and Jamarian Williams; goddaughter, Tracy McPhail; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and adoring friends.
Norma attended school in Palm Beach County and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She married and settled in Riviera Beach, Florida where she lived and worked for most of her life. She made many lifelong friends along the way. Her best friend, Eddie McPhail, preceeded her in death, and now rejoices with her in her new heavenly home.
Norma’s support for people and causes in the community spanned her entire life and are too numerous to mention, but with each engagement she made lifelong friends who were drawn to her compassionate grace, style and aura.
Norma participated in the Buffalo Soldiers with her life partner, Robert Hinton, and was actively engaged in their mission of community service and funding local and national charities.
What mattered most to Norma was the people she loved. Her mission was accomplished, giving herself to everyone else, and now she rests.
